GUINNESS has presented messages of goodwill from football fans to the Black Stars to inspire them to Reach for Greatness in the MTN African Cup of Nations 2008.
Michael Essien collected the collated messages at a brief presentation on behalf of the team and expressed his happiness at the messages of support from the nation.
Fans can SMS their goodwill messages to 15624 and the best will be sent to the team to inspire them for each match.
In addition, fans that send in messages can also win tickets to the Guinness MTN Fan Park that is being held in Accra.
The fan park holds 15,000 a day and is the first of its kind in Ghana, with a giant LCD screen, Guinness bars, MTN customer experience stands, games, giveaways, music and entertainment.
Presenting the messages to Michael Essien, Edwin Baffour, Marketing Manager, Malts, at Guinness thanked the Black Stars and said 'your fantastic game on Sunday have done us proud. The whole country is supporting you and we are cheering you on to bring the cup home.'
