Ghana-born midfielder Vadis Odjidja Ofoe looks set to join German Bundesliga giants Hamburg
after turning down Dutch outfit FC Twente.
The 18-year-old, who was born to Ghana father and a Belgian mum, has been impressive
for Anderlecht so far this season. Even though he has received a lucrative offer from the Dutch club,
Ofoe is reported to have agreed a five-year deal with Hamburg.
"Vadis has definitely decided that he wants to go to the German Bundesliga," Ofoe's adviser
says Jos Eerdekens told Nieuwsblad. "Hamburg is a top club. He can improve himself there on all areas."
The reports suggest that negotiation between Anderlecht and Hamburg have gone well.
The player is also reported to have agreed personal terms with the German club.
He opted for Hamburg because his friend Vicent Kompany plays for the club.
Anderlecht are keen to transfer Ofoe because his contract with the Belgian side ends in the
summer and he could move on a free transfer
