The Uefa Champions League takes centre stage this mid-week with some Ghanaian players with some disciplinary concerns.

Black Stars defender Eric Addo will miss the sixth rounds of group matches as he is serving a four-match ban.

Addo will not be available for PSV Eindhoven when they travel to Russia to face CSKA Moscow.

The defender is serving the third of the four-match ban after spitting on an opponent from the Turkish side Fenerbahce in Group G.

In Group B, Micahel Essien is expected to be in action when Chelsea host Spanish side Valencia.

But the Ghanaian midfielder will miss their next Champions League game if he is booked.

The others Ghanaians Stephen Appiah of Fenerbahce, Ahmed Apimah Barusso of Roma and Marseille?s Andre Dede Ayew have no adverse disciplinary record in this competition.
