Experienced versatile player Emmanuel Osei Kuffuor has been voted as the captain of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
He was named after voting by players of the club in Kumasi on Wednesday.
Kuffuor has been the backbone behind the recent successes of the Porcupine Warriors.
He seems to have been rewarded for his brotherly role he has played since joining the club last season from Ashgold.
He will be assisted by popular defender Godfred Yeboah.
Kotoko won their opeining GT Premier League match on SUnday after beating All Blacks 3-0.
Kuffuor is the league?s most decorated player having win the African Champions League with arch rivals Hearts of Oak in 2000.
