Organisers of the MTN/Metro TV Sports Academy Reality Show on Thursday honoured the Sports Department of DAILY GUIDE for its contribution towards the success of the maiden edition of the programme.
According to the organizers, DAILY GUIDE SPORTS had given the reality show extensive coverage throughout the three months that the competition lasted.
In the light of this, the CEO of Metro TV, Talal Fatal presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Pierre Toto, who represented the paper at the Noble Chinese Restaurant at Osu Kuuku Hill in Accra.
Receiving the certificate, Mr Toto thanked the organizers for recognizing the contribution of DAILY GUIDE towards the success of the programme which ended a few weeks ago.
He said the paper was looking forward to subsequent editions of the show, and assured the organizers of adequate coverage.
In a related development, DAILY GUIDE SPORTS has learnt that Gideon Baah, winner of the Sports Academy Reality Show, will be flying to England to train with Chelsea FC on Saturday.
Gideon, who will be on trial with the English Premiership giants for two weeks, will be accompanied by Metro TV crew comprising two technicians and one cameraman.
