Liberty Professionals yesterday confirmed that their recent victory over Accra Hearts of Oak was no fluke when they thrashed Alhaji Grunsah's King Faisal 4-0 at the Carl Reindorf Park at Dansoman in Accra.

The victory gave them a head-start as leaders of the 2007/2008 Onetouch Premier League.

Kotoko, whipped Gamba All Blacks 3-0 at Sunyani, while Heart of Lions beat Real Sportive 2-0.

The surprise score-line of the week occurred in the match between Tema Youth and Ashantigold. The boys from Tema whipped the Aboakese lads by 2 goals to nil, and at the Berekum Sports Stadium, the match between Arsenals and Wa All Stars could not produce a goal.

New entrants Kessben FC also beat Hasaacas by 2-0, while Real Tamale United (RTU) defeated Zaytuna FC 2-1.

In the Accra derby, Great Olympics and Defending Champions Accra Hearts of Oak played a goal-less drawn game.
