Kaddafi F/C For Div 2

Kaddafi Babies, a third division club based in the Eastern Region, has booked a place in this year's second division league championship to be held in Akuapem North.

Alhaji Mohamed Muftao, Chairman of the District Football Association and founder of Kaddafi Babies, explained to DAILY GUIDE SPORTS that the Regional Division Three League took place in August this year, with three teams gaining promotion.

Kaddafi placed first, followed by Score FC from Ebiriw, who also qualified for the Eastern Region Middle League, and Wolton of Adorso in third place.

From the results of the Eastern Region Middle League, Kaddafi and the Assesewa-based Cornerstone Club, took second and first places respectively, qualifying for Division Two in the Region.

Alhaji Mohamed, who was awarded the Level One Badminton Coaching Certificate in May 2007, told DAILY GUIDE SPORTS that this year, his outfit organized the Colts League in the Akuapem North District for Under-12, Under-14 and Under-17 teams for the first time. At the end of the league, the Trinity Colts club won the maiden league in all categories.
