City of Ghana Academy based at Kotobabi in Accra last Friday won the private schools football competition held at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex in Accra by Beating Royal Technical College (ROTECO) 7 – 6 on penalties after a goalless drawn game.

The National Technical College (NATECO) and Rising Technical took the third and forth positions respectively.

In a crucial handball finals, Hannah Girls Vocation fought from 2-4 deficit to draw 5-5 with Accra Girls Vocation (AGIVOC) at the end of the game.

Due to a downpour the winner was not declared. The two schools are however hot favourites for the trophy in the super zonals.
In girls' volley, NATECO beat Presby Vocational 2-0 to win the trophy at stake.

Senior high schools in Accra will have their event at Azumah Nelson's complex on Thursday and Friday 8th and 9th November, 2007.

Senior high schools in Tema will compete on Wednesday and Thursday 14th & 15th Nov. 07 at Don Borsco School in Tema.

The first four schools in each event will qualify for super zonal scheduled for 20th and 21st November 2007 at the Azumah Sports Complex.
