Italian Serie A side Bologna have secured the services of Ghanaian teenage talent Kwesi Sorotu Badori, who will join the club’s youth team for the remainder of the 2025/26 season from Ghana Premier League outfit Berekum Chelsea.
The 18-year-old arrives on loan, with an option for Bologna to make the transfer permanent.
Badori has impressed over the past two seasons in Ghana’s top flight, attracting attention from European clubs including Switzerland’s FC Basel and several teams in Denmark.
Bologna confirmed the deal on their official website following the close of the winter transfer window on February 2. The club listed the following additions to their Primavera (U-19) squad:
- Flavio Juncaj – NK Domžale
- Niccolò Mennini – FC Scandicci 1908
- Badori Kwesi Sorotu – Berekum Chelsea FC
Badori is currently in Ghana finalizing his work permit before returning to Italy, where he aims to make an immediate impact.
This season, he has featured in 14 matches and scored twice, an improvement on his single goal in 29 appearances last term, further highlighting his growing reputation as one of Ghana’s most promising young footballers.
