Belgian rider Tomas De Neve delivered a commanding performance to seize the yellow jersey in Stage Three of the 2025 Tour du Ghana, completing the course in 1 hour, 54 minutes and 07.276 seconds.

The day produced one of the tightest sprints of the competition so far, with only fractions of a second separating the leading group. De Neve broke away just enough in the final stretch to secure a seven-second advantage over Dutch contender Tom Wyfve, who crossed in 1:54:14.622.

The fight for third was decided by the narrowest of margins. Belgium’s Fil D’Heygere (1:54:14.977) edged Burkina Faso’s Saturnin Yameogo (1:54:15.321) by 0.344 seconds to complete the podium.

Burkina Faso’s riders were among the standout performers of the day, underscoring the country’s rising profile in West African cycling. Yameogo finished fourth, and his compatriots Rawende Moucaila and Ilboudo Soumaila placed sixth and seventh respectively — all three finishing within a second of each other.

The top ten reflected a balanced field featuring both European depth and African flair. Bastian Dieti of Obroni Riders claimed eighth place, while Belgian cyclists occupied five spots in the leading group.
