Asante Kotoko are expected to confirm Abdul Karim Zito as the substantive head coach ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
The former Black Satellites coach replaced Prosper Narteh Ogum on an interim basis midway through the second half of the season.
Despite limited time, Zito managed to finish third in the Ghana Premier League while guiding the club to win their 10th FA Cup title.
Following the brilliant run of form, the Interim Management Committee (IMC) have decided to retain Karim Zito as the substantive head coach ahead of next season.
Zito is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors. The veteran gaffer is expected to lead Asante Kotoko for the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
