Hearts of Oak are set to appoint Abdulai Gazale as the club’s new assistant coach, according to local media sources.
The move follows Gazale's departure from Basake Holy Stars, where he spent just one season but successfully helped the team retain their Ghana Premier League status.
The young coach is said to favour a reunion with Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, who was recently named head coach of Hearts of Oak on a two-year deal.
He is expected to meet Togbe Afede XIV to agree on terms before the deal is announced.
Gazale brings valuable experience to the Phobians, having previously served as a youth coach and interim head coach at Asante Kotoko during the 2020/21 campaign.
He signed a three-year deal with Basake Holy Stars in August 2024 before opting to move on.
In addition to his coaching duties, Gazale also works as a Physical Education tutor at TI Ahmadiyyah Senior High School in Kumasi.
