Belgian forward of Ghanaian descent, Jeremy Doku, scored on Wednesday evening to seal a 2-0 win for Manchester City against Wydad Athletic Club in their opening match at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The exciting winger started the game for the English Premier League side today, operating from the flanks.
With his pace and trickery improving the quality of his team’s attack, Manchester City enjoyed a bright start to the game and scored the opening goal after just 2 minutes into the contest.
England international Phil Foden netted the crucial goal with a powerful effort into the left corner after pouncing on a loose ball in the Wydad Athletic area.
