Asante Kotoko forward Kwame Opoku beleives he could have performed better if he had joined the side before the start of the season.
The former Nkronsah Warriors striker returned to the club in December 2024 before the start of the second half of the 2024/25 season.
However, Opoku made a significant impact, scoring crucial goals, including a brace in the MTN FA Cup final against Golden Kick on Sunday.
“I see myself like I’m just a normal player that I have to help my club, so it’s not anything special,” Opoku humbly told 3Sports.
The forward rated his performance at 70%, adding, “If I started the league, maybe I would have done better.”
Asante Kotoko, together with Premier League champions Bibiani GoldStars, will represent Ghana on the African stage in the inter-club competitions.
