Ghana international Tariq Lamptey may be on his way out of Brighton & Hove Albion this summer, with his contract set to expire on June 30, 2025.
The former Chelsea defender, who joined Brighton in 2020, has played an important role at the club over the years.
However, his time on the pitch has been limited recently due to persistent injuries.
Lamptey is expected to miss Brighton’s final Premier League fixture of the season against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, having sustained an injury during the previous match against Wolves. It will be his second game in a row on the sidelines.
Despite his contributions when fit, there have been no reports of ongoing contract renewal discussions, fueling speculation that the 23-year-old could leave the AMEX Stadium at the end of the season.
In this campaign, Lamptey made 15 Premier League appearances, registering two goals and two assists.
Across all competitions, he featured 20 times and was directly involved in five goals for the Seagulls.
In January, the versatile right-back was heavily linked with a move to Dutch giants Ajax, but the deal failed to materialise.
With his future uncertain and no new contract in sight, Lamptey could be seeking a new club as early as next month.
