Ghana U20 head coach, Desmond Ofei, says his side is hungry and motivated ahead of the quarter-final clash against Egypt at the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
According to him, his players are hungry for success and will fight to the end to get the win against the host nation.
Speaking in his pre-match interview, Ofei stressed that it is important for his team to believe in their values and their style of play on the matchday.
“We need to stay true to our values, stay true to our DNA, and stay true to our philosophy," he said.
"My boys are hungry for success. They’re going to put everything out there on the field,” he added.
The much-anticipated game has been scheduled to kick off at 15:00 GMT at the New Suez Stadium.
A win for Ghana will see them qualify for the 2025 U-20 World Cup, which will be hosted in Chile later this year for the first time since 2015
