
President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, believes the upcoming clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko has the potential to unite the nation.
The two most glamorous clubs will face off on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Matchday 30 fixture of the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
Speaking ahead of the highly anticipated game, Okraku expressed optimism about its impact.
“It is a game with a lot of interest. It is a game that unites all of us and inspires us in the same measure. I wish both teams the best of luck,” he told Asempa FM.
Asante Kotoko will be aiming to complete a league double over their archrivals after securing a 1-0 win in the first-round fixture in Kumasi.
Ahead of the Super Clash, Kotoko sit fourth on the league table with 50 points, three behind leaders GoldStars, while Hearts of Oak are in sixth place with 45 points.
