Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has expressed his satisfaction following his team’s commanding 3-0 victory over Young Apostles at the TNA Stadium on Saturday.
The Yellow and Mauves delivered a strong performance to comfortably defeat the league debutants in their Matchday 29 encounter. Goals from Kamaradini Mamudu and Fatawu Sulemana sealed all three points for Medeama.
Speaking after the match, Tanko praised his side's display, especially in the opening half.
"First half was fantastic, in terms of goal scoring opportunities, with did very well," he said.
"I think we had to score in the second half, but after the three goals in the first half, they relaxed. So in all, I am satisfied with the three points and playing without conceding."
The win marked Medeama's 13th victory of the season, lifting their points tally to 44 after 29 matches.
