Bibiani GoldStars head coach, Frimpong Manso, remains confident about securing the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title, despite suffering a 2-0 loss to Vision FC over the weekend.
The defeat came during Matchday 29 at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, where the Miners hoped to extend their lead at the top of the table.
However, GoldStars still maintain their position at the summit with 53 points, holding a five-point advantage with just five matches left in the season.
Despite the setback, Manso expressed optimism about his team’s title aspirations.
“We have four games left, three of them at home. We know it won’t be easy, but we’re motivated to push harder," he said after the game.
"Even for the away game, we’ll fight for something. We’re still on course to win the league," he added.
A late goal from Edmond Asante, four minutes from the final whistle, secured a crucial victory for Vision FC, with Nana Kweku Agyemang's side taking home the three points.
