MON, 28 APR 2025

Vision FC head coach, Nana Kweku Agyemang, is confident his team will secure their Premier League status by the end of the season.

The newly-promoted side strengthened their survival hopes with a stunning 2-0 victory over league leaders Bibiani GoldStars in Matchday 29 at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Sunday.

This vital win has moved Vision FC further away from the relegation zone, significantly boosting their chances of staying in the top flight during their first season in the league.

“I’ve said it over and over again, we will not be relegated. The boys will rise to the occasion. We’ll stay in the league, and next season, you’ll see a better side,” Agyemang said after the game.

Edmond Asante's late goal sealed the win for Vision FC, who now sit in 14th place with 33 points, surpassing Accra Lions. Meanwhile, GoldStars’ lead at the top has been cut to just two points.
