Black Stars winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has urged Ghanaian football fans to rally behind the team as they prepare for their 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana is set to face Chad and Madagascar in their Matchday five and six fixtures later this month, aiming to bounce back after missing out on qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) for the first time in 20 years.
Issahaku, who plays for Leicester City, highlighted the crucial role of home support in their campaign.
"We need your support, and we are ready to fight for the nation as always, but we still need your support to get the victory, and we hope to see you all in the stadium," he urged.
The Black Stars will host Chad on Friday, March 21, at 19:00 GMT before traveling to Morocco to take on Madagascar at the Grand Stade d'Al Hoceima on Monday, March 24.
