Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani Goldstars, Akwasi Adu, has affirmed that all Ghana Premier League clubs are fully prepared for the league's return.

The second half of the 2024/25 season was put on hold following the tragic death of Francis Frimpong, who was fatally stabbed at Nana Kronmansah Park in Nsoatre during a Matchday 19 clash between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko.

Speaking to Citi Sports, Akwasi Adu emphasized that despite the suspension of competitive matches, clubs have continued their operations seamlessly.

He highlighted that training sessions, player welfare, and financial commitments have all been maintained to ensure teams are in top shape for the league’s return.

"Oh yes, I think all the Premier League clubs, along with our competitors, are eagerly awaiting the league’s resumption," he said.

"That’s why we’ve kept our players in camps, ensured they are fed, paid their salaries, and invested in their training. We are all set for the league to resume," he added.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that the Ghana Premier League is set to resume on March 1.
