Swedish Superettan side, Örebro SK has confirmed the signing of Ghanaian talent Blessing Asumang Dankwah.
The club in an official statement on Monday, February 17, indicated that the talented winger has been signed from Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions.
“18-year-old Blessing Asumang Dankwah joins ÖSK from Accra Lions FC. He joins the black and white team on loan for the season with an option where ÖSK has the opportunity to make the transfer permanent to a contract that extends through 2029. We warmly welcome Blessing to Örebro,” the Swedish club stated in its statement.
Speaking after sealing the move, the teenager expressed his delight, stressing that he cannot wait to get started.
Asumang who is set to play in Europe for the first time wants to not just impress but help his new club to the best of his abilities.
“It feels wonderful to have this opportunity to take the next step in my career. I am coming here to show who I am and to help the team as best I can. Everyone has been very welcoming to me and I am really looking forward to meeting the club's supporters, too,” Blessing Asumang Dankwah said as quoted on the website of Orebro SK.
