The Ghana Police Service has arrested the General Manager of Elmina Sharks, Kelvin Aboagye.
This is in connection with an attack on Eso Doh Morrison during a Division One League game between Elmina Sharks and Swedru All Blacks at the Nduom Sports Stadium.
According to the police, Kelvin Aboagye, along with other individuals, physically assaulted Eso Doh Morrison and some supporters after the match.
The suspect is currently in police custody, assisting with investigations. Meanwhile, efforts are ongoing to identify and arrest the remaining culprits involved in the attack.
The controversy escalated when a dubious penalty was awarded against Elmina Sharks.
