Men Only To Structure Boxing

The Ghana Boxing Authority says it would maintain the Men Only Boxing Championship as a sponsored promotional tournament to nurture young talents and structure the total boxing landscape of the country.

This, according to the GBA, will sustain and stabilise new professionals who don't have managers when they enter the professionals rungs.

A statement signed by Ignatius Elletey, General Secretary of the GBA, also expressed gratitude to various institutions whose contributions made the last Men Only Boxing Championship successful.

“The Ghana Boxing Authority would like to extend its heartfelt appreciation to Metro TV, Bahmed Travel and Tours, Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, Azar Paint, Onetouch, Far East Mercantile and CCTC for the wonderful assistance,” the statement said.

The statement also thanked the media houses for their support during the boxing championship.
