Asante Kotoko coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum has praised the signing of defender, Michael Sefah.
The 29-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors from Division One side Port City FC on an 18-month contract on transfer deadline day.
“Michael is a fantastic addition to our team. His ability to play both as a centre-back and in defensive midfield gives us great tactical flexibility," Narteh Ogum said.
"He completed our centre-back options as we previously had only three senior ones in Ablorh, Samba, and Ansu.
"Michael’s arrival not only strengthens our defense but also provides leadership and stability, which will be crucial as we compete on multiple fronts,” he added.
Sefah joins Kwasi Asante, Isaac Mintah, Sampson Eduku and Kwame Opoku as signings in the January transfer window.
The Kumasi-based giants finished the first round just a point behind leaders Bibiani GoldStars.
Asante Kotoko will kick off the second round of the season with a home game against Karela United in the Matchday 18 games.
