Former AshantiGold SC forward Seth Osei has extended a heartfelt apology to Asante Kotoko and Nana Apinkrah Akwasi Awuah for not joining the club as initially anticipated.
Osei, who was on the brink of signing with the Ghana Premier League giants last year, ultimately opted to join South African Premier League side TS Galaxy.
Unfortunately, his stint in South Africa was short-lived after the club terminated his contract.
In a recent interview, the talented attacker acknowledged the disappointment he caused to the fans of Kotoko and Nana Apinkrah. He explained that his decision was motivated by a desire to pursue opportunities abroad.
"I sincerely apologize to Nana Apinkrah Akwasi Awuah and the Asante Kotoko supporters for misleading them into believing I would play for the club," Osei stated during an interview with Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.
"At the time, my focus was on travelling to South Africa to continue my career."
Despite his past decision, rumours are now linking Seth Osei to another Ghanaian powerhouse, Hearts of Oak, sparking speculation about his next move.
