Dear Editor, I am urging the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the technical team of the Black Starlets, headed by Coach Osam Duodu, to invite Kumasi Asante Kotoko's newly-signed enterprising young defensive midfielder, Samuel Inkoom, to beef up the squad.
Inkoom, a product of Sekondi Hasaacas and the C.K. Gyamfi Football Academy, would be helpful to the team.
Considering the fact that the performance of the Black Starlets in Togo was impressive, especially our central defence and midfield, we may be doing the country a disservice if the player is left out.
Inkoom, a very diciplined and dedicated player, was adjudged the best player in two of the matches of last season's Onetouch Premier League. No wonder he was poached by Kotoko at the end of the season.
Having monitored him for some time now, I think he is one of the finest midfielders in the country at the moment and he deserves a place in the Starlets squad.
