Asante Kotoko defender Gilbalni O'Neil Ndongani Samba is confident of a win ahead of their game against Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
The two biggest clubs in the country will clash at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Matchday 13 games of the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
“We are focused and ready to play the match on Sunday. It’s a big match but we are not under pressure. It is normal to be under pressure but for us, it’s positive pressure," he said.
“For me, I always want to win so just us the Democracy Cup, we will win on Sunday. I will plead with our fans to continue supporting the team and I promise, we are going to make it easy on Sunday," he added.
The Congolese centre-back won the Man of the Match prize when Kotoko defeated Hearts of Oak to annex the inaugural Democracy Cup back in July 2024.
The 24-year-old has made 9 appearances in the Ghana Premier League after 12 matches into the campaign.
