Ghana legend, Abedi Ayew ‘Pele’ has admonished the Black Maidens to remain focused and disciplined ahead of the WAFU B U17 Girls Cup.
The Ghana U17 Girls team is currently in camp preparing for the upcoming tournament.
Today, Ghana football legend Abedi Ayew 'Pele' visited the Black Maidens during their training session in Prampram.
During his engagement with the team, the former Black Stars captain said, “I am impressed with how well you are executing your coaches’ instructions on the pitch. Stay focused and be disciplined.”
Abedi Pele further backed the Black Maidens to win the WAFU B U17 Girls Cup.
''I am eagerly looking forward to see the Black Maidens dominant in the upcoming tournament and I hope you win it,” the legend added.
So far, preparations have been good for the Black Maidens.
The team on Wednesday defeated Rootz Sistaz FC 5-1 and 2-0 in separate friendly games.
The Maidens are scheduled to play FC Epiphany in another friendly match on Friday, December 6, at the GFA Technical Center in Prampram.
