Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has hinted that Thomas Partey's contract situation at the club will be addressed at the right time.
The 31-year-old's contract runs out at the end of the season having signed a five-year deal in 2020.
However, with his top form and glittering performances in the ongoing season, Arteta has hailed his fitness level with regards to his physical conditions and has given the clearest indication that his trusted midfield enforcer could see his current deal extend beyond next season.
''We will have the right time to discuss this situation,'' the Spanish gaffer said of the future of the Ghana international enforcer in a pre-match press conference ahead of their clash with West Ham United.
''He’s showing consistency at the highest level, again because his availability and the way he feels physically is allowing him to do that and I’m pleased with that,'' he added.
Partey has so far featured in 12 league games by netting twice for Arsenal in the ongoing 2024/25 English Premier League campaign.
