Ghanaian match officials would be getting busy later this month and in the month of June after two FIFA referees together with their assistants were selected for continental duty.

The Confederation of African Football – CAF, has appointed FIFA accredited referee, William Agbovi to officiate in the clash involving two Nigerian sides, Kwara United and Nasawarwa United in the 1/8th stage of the second leg final match of the CAF Cup competition on Sunday, May 20.

Haruna Ayuba and Salifu Malik would assist William Agbovi on the lines for the all-Nigerian fixture.

FIFA referee, Alex Kotey has been nominated by CAF to handle the CAN 2008 qualifier between Niger and Lesotho on Sunday, June 3 in Niamey.

Once again, Haruna Ayuba would be on the lines to assist while and George Seija is the second match assistant.
