Hearts of Oak head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, has highlighted the increased motivation that opposing teams exhibit when facing his side, emphasizing that each match against the Phobians comes with a heightened sense of determination.
In a post-match interview after Hearts' second consecutive win last Friday, Ouattara acknowledged that rival teams often intensify their preparations when playing against the Ghanaian football giants.
"Every team facing Hearts of Oak comes with double the motivation," Ouattara said. "There’s a special determination when they play us, and it’s real. Both the players and the coaching staff must remain focused, treating every match as if it were the final."
Hearts’ recent 1-0 victory propelled them up the league standings, and the coach believes that staying disciplined and maintaining focus will be essential in securing more points as the season unfolds.
"We must stay focused on each match, as every one is important for Hearts of Oak. If we maintain discipline, I believe we will be in a better position to accumulate points," Ouattara added.
