Otto Addo has called up six additional players to Ghana's Black Stars squad for the final games of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
The new call-ups include Osman Bukari (Austin FC), Ransford Yeboah Koningsdorffer (Hamburger SV), Forson Amankwah (Norwich City), Terry Yegbe (IF Elfsborg), Ebenezer Annan (OFK Beograd), and Kingsley Schindler (Samsunspor).
These late additions were necessary after eight original squad members withdrew due to injuries.
Among those unable to participate are Joseph Paintsil, Antoine Semenyo, Ibrahim Osman, Tariq Lamptey, Jerome Opoku, and Inaki Williams, as confirmed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The Black Stars are set to begin training in Accra today, with an open session at the Accra Sports Stadium at 17:00 GMT.
On Tuesday, they will hold a closed-door session before departing for Luanda on Wednesday.
Ghana is determined to qualify for the 2025 AFCON in Morocco despite a challenging start. They will face Angola on November 15 at Estádio 11 de Novembro, followed by a home game against Niger on November 18 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Currently, Ghana sits in third place in Group F with two points from four matches, trailing Angola and Sudan.
