Black Stars coach Otto Addo is set to announce his squad today for the final two games of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Ghana’s national team will conclude their qualification campaign against Angola and Niger in Matchday five and six fixtures, with hopes of securing a spot in the 2025 tournament in Morocco despite a challenging start.
The Black Stars will first travel to Luanda for an away game against Angola on November 15 at the Estádio 11 de Novembro, followed by a home fixture against Niger on November 18 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The squad announcement is scheduled for 12:00 PM at the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Conference Room.
Ghana’s qualifiers began with a home defeat to Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, followed by a 1-1 draw with Niger in Berkane.
The team’s struggles continued in their doubleheader against Sudan, where they drew 0-0 in Accra and then suffered a 2-0 defeat in the away leg held in Libya.
Currently, the Black Stars sit third in Group F with two points from four matches, trailing behind Angola and Sudan. To qualify, Ghana must win both of their remaining games and hope Sudan falters in their final matches.
