Black Stars coach, Otto Addo, is confident his side is capable of beating any opposition in Group F of the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
The 45-year-old trainer made these remarks while addressing the press ahead of their second leg clash against Sudan on Tuesday.
The Black Stars are winless after three games into th qualifying campaign with just two points after three games.
After suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat to Angola in their opening game, Ghana followed up with a 1-1 draw against Niger and a goalless draw with Sudan.
Despite the mixed results, Addo remains optimistic, citing the team’s dominant displays in the matches against Angola and Sudan.
“I think it’s good Angola won against Niger, and now the situation is still in our hands. We need to win this match tomorrow, and once we are second, I think we all know and have seen that we can beat all of those teams we’ve played against. It’s still in our own hands, and that’s what we’re aiming for,” the 45-year-old said.
Ghana will be hosted at the Martyrs of February Stadium in Libya in the Matchday four games.
The Black Stars are aiming to secure their first win to keep their chances of qualification alive. The match is scheduled to kick off at 13:00 GMT.
