The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced new dates for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers between Ghana and Sudan.
This has been communicated through a notice from the Ghana FA today, Friday, October 4.
“The matches will now take place on Thursday, October 10, and Tuesday, October 15, 2024, instead of the original dates, October 11 and 14, 2024.
“The Ghana Black Stars will host the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium on October 10, while the return leg will be played at Benina, Libya, on October 15, 2024,” the Ghana FA notice said.
The Black Stars are heading into Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers on the back of a poor start to the campaign.
The Black Stars first lost 1-0 to Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium before drawing 1-1 with Niger away from home.
