After surrendering the title, Asante Kotoko's hopes of even playing in the Champions League competition looks bleak after going down 2-0 to Arsenals in Berekum on Sunday.

The defeat was the second successive loss by the Porcupine Warriors who are third on the table two points behind the second placed team and with just a game to end the season.

Arsenals scored a goal apiece in each half against Asante Kotoko with Prince Attakora Gyimah poking in from close range past goalkeeper Eric Nii Baah in the first half.

The second half produced now result for the Porcupine Warriors who could simply not stop the Gunners from attacking.

And Agyemang Badu capitalized on the failure of the Kotoko defence men to clear the ball and planted in within six yards.
