Algerian club CS Constantine has safely arrived in Ghana ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round first-leg match against Nsoatreman FC.
The match is set to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, September 13, 2024.
Following this, Constantine will host the return leg in a week's time at their home ground in Constantine, Algeria.
The team landed at Kotoka International Airport at around 3 p.m. aboard a chartered Air Algerie flight.
From there, they proceeded directly to Alisa Hotel, where they will be staying ahead of the important fixture.
Notably, CS Constantine is missing their captain, Miloud Rebiai, who is sidelined due to injury. Nigerian forward Tosin Omoyele is also absent, as visa issues prevented him from making the trip.
However, new signing Achraf Boudrama has been included in the squad and is expected to fill in for Rebiai.
The winner of this two-legged encounter will secure a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage, which is scheduled to begin in October.
