Feyenoord Academy came out victors in the five-goal thriller at the Swedru Park as the relegation battling side beat Great Olympics 3-2.

In a match that produced five goals within the first 45 minutes, Feyenoord now boost their chances of a stay in the premiership at least for now with two games remaining as they move 13th on the table.

Feyenoord got onto the scorecards first in the 9th minute when Ganiyu Iddi put them in the lead finishing off a pass from Dominic Adiyah.

Six minutes later, Dominic Adiyah found the back as Feyenoord raced into a 2-0 lead.

Great Olympics got back into the game when Emmanuel Clottey pulled a goal back for the Wonder Boys in the 24th minute.

Then six minutes afterwards, Michael Annan tied the game when he scored in the 30th minute.

However the home side proved too strong and with two minutes of added time before recess, Noel Nyansugbor grabbed the match winner in the 47th minute.

Back from recess, Great Olympics pushed to level up again but this time failed as the home side held onto their lead to win the game.
