FC Nania continue with their winning run as they defeat Vasco Goa 2-1 to secure a place in the semi-finals of the E K Nayanar Memorial International Football tournament Tuesday night.
In a lively match at the flood-lit Jawahar Stadium, Nania struck the first goal in the 13th minute through a shot from captain, Addy Khalil from about 20 metres off.
FC Nania struck another blow in the very first minute of the second session with another goal coming from Babamu Yusif.
The match generated excitement as the Vasco team, which till then remained goalless, started spiting fire with attacking shots, precise passes and accurate defences.
They managed to score the solitary goal against the visiting team through substitute Rehman Cardozo on the 86th minute, but it was too late to grab an equaliser.
