Ghana international Mohammed Kudus is a prime target for Newcastle United, who are contemplating transferring Anthony Gordon to Liverpool.
According to iNews, Newcastle United is considering either West Ham United's Jarrod Bowen or Kudus as potential replacements if Gordon exits.
Kudus, who moved from Ajax to West Ham last summer, quickly made a name for himself in the Premier League during his debut season. The 24-year-old excelled for West Ham, netting 14 goals and providing six assists across all competitions.
Newcastle fans saw Kudus's skill up close during an exciting 4-3 match against West Ham in March, where Kudus scored and assisted in the game. His performance earned him praise from West Ham manager David Moyes, who described him as "excellent."
Although Kudus made a strong impression at St James' Park, the game was also marked by his confrontation with a ball boy and Newcastle's stunning comeback.
Should Gordon leave, Newcastle might pursue Kudus, but West Ham will likely seek to profit from his transfer. Kudus was signed for £38 million in 2023, and his £85 million release clause will not be available again until next summer.
