Ghana defender, Baba Rahman netted a crucial goal for PAOK Salonika in their UEFA Champions League qualifying match against Malmö FF at the Eleda Stadion on Tuesday evening.
Malmö FF had a strong start, dominating possession and taking numerous shots. They gained the lead in the 29th minute with a header from Pontus Jansson, assisted by Sebastian Nanasi.
However, PAOK levelled the score just before halftime when Taison found the net in the 43rd minute, thanks to an assist from Brandon Thomas.
In the second half, PAOK displayed determination, which paid off in the 68th minute when Baba Rahman scored the equalizer with a left-footed shot from the centre of the box, assisted by Konstantinos Koulierakis.
This goal was crucial in securing a draw for the Greek side as they look ahead to the second leg.
PAOK will host Malmö FF for the return leg on August 13th, with the aggregate score tied at 2-2.
