Newly acquired West Ham United striker Niclas Füllkrug says it is a dream come true for him to play with Mohammed Kudus.
The German international has joined the Hammers from Borussia Dortmund in the ongoing summer transfer window in a deal worth 27.5 million pounds on a four-year deal.
Speaking to the club website after completing his move, Füllkrug highlighted the number of quality creative players West Ham have including Kudus.
“I am very happy to be here, also a little bit excited. I can’t wait to get on the pitch with my new mates. It’s a dream because you have [Lucas] Paquetá, [Jarrod] Bowen, [Mohammed] Kudus, and now [Crysencio] Summerville as well," he said.
“There are a lot of very good players who can assist me, and if I get assists then I can score. I believe I can fit into this team very well," he added.
Mohammed Kudus in his debut season with West Ham scored 14 goals and added six assists in 45 games in all competitions.
West Ham United will open their 2024/25 Premier League season with a home game against Aston Villa at the London Stadium.
