Midfielder Enoch Morrison has issued an apology to Hearts of Oak after joining the Kenyan Premier League side Gor Mahia FC.

Initially, Morrison was reported to have reached an agreement with Hearts of Oak after his contract with Asante Kotoko was terminated at the end of the last season.

However, the promising midfielder ultimately decided to move abroad, signing a two-year deal with the Kenyan club.

In an interview with Akoma FM, Morrison expressed his regret over the failed move to Hearts of Oak and asked for forgiveness.

“Hearts of Oak did not communicate with me directly, which complicated the deal. I knew they were interested in me, but for various reasons, the process took longer than expected. Had there been no delay, I would have played for Hearts of Oak.

“During our numerous meetings, the Hearts coach showed interest and explained how I would fit into his team. Since both parties were keen on the deal, I cannot blame Hearts for its failure. I can only say that it was not intentional, and I hope they accept my apologies,” Morrison added.
