Two goals apiece in each half helps Tema Youth stroll to a 2-0 home win over struggling Bofoakwa Tano at the Robert Mensah stadium on Saturday.
The win, the seventh for the premiership debutants lifts them up to the ninth place on the table with three games to end the season.
Bofoakwa Tano, who are third from bottom got off to a bright start but had a 4th minute goal disallowed.
However, the home side stepped up and were rewarded with a goal scored by Gado Mohammed from a spot kick after he had been fouled in the box by a opposing player.
Tema Youth held on the lone goal to end the first half.
Back from recess, Tema Youth still possession as Bofoakwa Tano sweated to hold their opponents.
Bofoakwa Tano's hopes to finding the equaliser rather saw them pick the ball again from the sticks as Kofi Koomson doubled Tema Youth's lead to make the scoreline 2-0.
With three games to end the season, Bofoakwa Tano would be hoping to avoid the drop after their thirteenth loss of the season.
