Board Member of Hearts of Oak, Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has assured that the club's problems will be addressed before the 2024/25 Ghana football season starts.
The Phobian Club escaped relegation on the final day of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League after recording a 3-2 win over Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
As part of their preparations for the upcoming season, Hearts of Oak suffered a 2-1 to Asante Kotoko last Wednesday in the first edition of the Democracy Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium, which was their third straight loss to the Porcupine Warriors.
However, Nyaho-Tamakloe admits there is a problem but that will be fixed before the start of the new season.
“We have a problem at the moment, but that problem will come to an end before the start of the league 2024-2025,” he told Joy Sports.
“And my reason is quite simple. You know, we have a coach we think can be stable and then be able to pick the best of boys that we need, have good control over them and give them the training that they require," he added.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak will engage Heart of Lions in the 2024 Homowo Charity Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium on August 11, 2024.
The 2024/25 Ghana Premier League is scheduled to kick off at September 6 as announced by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
