Ghana Premier League champions, FC Samartex have completed the signing of talented attacker Baba Kushibo to strengthen the squad of the team.
The club announced the deal in an official post on social media on Friday, July 19.
In the statement, FC Samartex said Baba Kushibo joined the club on a free transfer after ending his stay at Real Tamale United (RTU).
“We are pleased to officially announce the signing of the seasoned winger, Baba Kushibo, who served as the Captain of Real Tamale United during the 2023/24 season. He joins our club on a free transfer, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to our team,” a club statement on X said.
The FC Samartex statement added, “Baba Kushibo, a distinguished graduate of the University of Education, Winneba, has committed to a two-year contract with our club.”
Checks have revealed that FC Samartex is looking at recruiting additional top players as part of preparations for the defence of the Ghana Premier League title in the 2024/25 football season.
