New Asante Kotoko signing, Elvis Kyei Baffour, has indicated that his move to the prestigious club holds special significance for him.
Having grown up in Kumasi, where the club is based, the winger says he is delighted with the chance to play for the club with a rich history and amazing fans.
Speaking after joining Asante Kotoko on Monday, July 15, Baffour shared his excitement and honour in signing for such a distinguished club.
"I am honoured to join this prestigious club with such a rich history and passionate fan base. Returning to Kumasi, where I was raised, makes this move even more special. I look forward to contributing to the team’s success and achieving great things together,” Baffour said in his first interview with the Kotoko media team.
Elvis Kyei Baffour has signed a three-year contract with Asante Kotoko.
The talented attacker is expected to play a crucial role for the Ghanaian giants in the upcoming 2024/25 football season.
He is also in line to debut for the Porcupine Warriors on Wednesday during the Democracy Cup showdown against Hearts of Oak in Accra.
