CAF Champions League: I am ready to offer every support to ensure we succeed - FC Samartex chief Dr. Richard Duah Nsenkyire

The financier of FC Samartex, Dr Richard Duah Nsenkyire has assured the playing body of the club that he is prepared to offer every support to ensure they excel in the CAF Champions League.

Samartex will represent the country in the 2024/25 Champions League having emerged as the champions of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

Addressing the playing body at the camping base at Safari Valley in the Eastern Region, Dr Nsenkyire assured the playing body that he is willing to offer every support the players will need to ensure they make their maiden participation in the CAF elite competition a success.

"I am ready to offer every support to ensure our success in the CAF Champions League," he said.

He further charged the playing body to demonstrate work hard and professionalism.

"Where we are now demands hard work and professionalism," he said.

Meanwhile, FC Samartex have been paired with Cameroonian side Victoria United FC in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

The preliminary round, scheduled for August, promises an exciting start for Samartex, with the winner advancing to meet either ASGNN of Niger or Morocco's Raja Club Athletic in September's second round.

Samartex aims to make a mark in their debut Champions League campaign and views the upcoming matches as an opportunity to showcase their prowess on the continental stage.
